अभाविप के राष्ट्रीय अध्यक्ष तथा राष्ट्रीय महामंत्री का हुआ निर्वाचन।
प्रो. (डॉ.) राजशरण शाही अभाविप के राष्ट्रीय अध्यक्ष पुनः निर्वाचित तथा डॉ. वीरेन्द्र सिंह सोलंकी अभाविप के राष्ट्रीय महामंत्री के रूप में नवनिर्वाचित।
अखिल भारतीय विद्यार्थी परिषद (अभाविप) के राष्ट्रीय अध्यक्ष तथा राष्ट्रीय महामंत्री के पदों की निर्वाचन प्रक्रिया आज मुंबई स्थित अभाविप के केन्द्रीय कार्यालय से सम्पन्न हुई। अखिल भारतीय विद्यार्थी परिषद के राष्ट्रीय अध्यक्ष के पद पर प्रो. (डॉ.) राजशरण शाही (उत्तर प्रदेश) पुनः निर्वाचित तथा राष्ट्रीय महामंत्री के पद पर डॉ वीरेन्द्र सिंह सोलंकी (मध्य प्रदेश) नवनिर्वाचित हुए।
अखिल भारतीय विद्यार्थी परिषद के राष्ट्रीय अध्यक्ष तथा राष्ट्रीय महामंत्री के निर्वाचन प्रक्रिया के चुनाव अधिकारी अभाविप की राष्ट्रीय कार्यकारी परिषद में विशेष आमंत्रित सदस्य प्रो. (डॉ.) प्रशांत साठे ने निर्वाचन परिणामों को घोषित करते हुए बताया है कि दोनों पदाधिकारी, उत्तर प्रदेश के गोरखपुर में 22, 23 तथा 24 नवंबर को आयोजित होने जा अखिल भारतीय विद्यार्थी परिषद के 70वें राष्ट्रीय अधिवेशन में अपना कार्यभार संभालेंगे।
प्रो. (डॉ.) राजशरण शाही मूलतः उत्तर प्रदेश के गोरखपुर जिले से हैं। आपकी शिक्षा शिक्षाशास्त्र विषय में पीएचडी तक हुई है। वर्तमान में आप बाबासाहब भीमराव अंबेडकर विश्वविद्यालय, लखनऊ में शिक्षाशास्त्र विभाग में आचार्य एवं विभागाध्यक्ष, साथ ही शिक्षा संकाय के अधिष्ठाता के पद पर कार्यरत हैं। आपने अभी तक छ: पुस्तकों का लेखन व संपादन किया है। अभी तक आपके 112 से अधिक शोधपत्र एवं लेख राष्ट्रीय व अन्तरराष्ट्रीय शोध पत्रिकाओं एवं संगोष्ठियों में प्रस्तुत किए जा चुके हैं। साथ ही शिक्षा से जुड़े विषयों पर दैनिक पत्रों में आपके लेख प्रकाशित हुए हैं। आप प्रतिष्ठित भारतीय उच्च अध्ययन संस्थान, शिमला में असोसिएट रहे हैं। 2017 में श्रेष्ठतम शिक्षक का योगीराज बाबा गंभीर नाथ स्वर्ण पदक उत्तर प्रदेश के मुख्यमंत्री द्वारा प्रदान किया गया। उत्तर प्रदेश की विभिन्न शैक्षिक एवं राष्ट्रीय शिक्षा नीति-2020 के क्रियान्वयन संबन्धी महत्वपूर्ण समितियों के आप सदस्य भी हैं। शिक्षा व सामाजिक विषयों के गहन चिंतक व उत्तर प्रदेश में संगठन कार्य को आगे बढ़ाने में आपकी महती भूमिका रही है। आप 1989 में विद्यार्थी जीवन से अभाविप के संपर्क में हैं। शिक्षक कार्यकर्ता के रूप में आप अब तक गोरखपुर महानगर अध्यक्ष से लेकर गोरक्ष प्रांत अध्यक्ष तथा राष्ट्रीय उपाध्यक्ष आदि दायित्वों का निर्वहन कर चुके हैं। वर्तमान में आप अभाविप के राष्ट्रीय अध्यक्ष हैं। आगामी सत्र 2024-25 हेतु राष्ट्रीय अध्यक्ष के दायित्व पर पुनर्निवाचित हुए हैं। आपका निवास लखनऊ है।
डॉ वीरेंद्र सिंह सोलंकी मूलत: मध्य प्रदेश के इंदौर के समीप देवास ज़िला अंतर्गत उदयनगर से हैं। आपकी शिक्षा श्री अरबिंदो इंस्टिट्यूट ऑफ़ मेडिकल साइंस (SAIMS), इंदौर से MBBS तक हुई है। आप शासकीय स्वशासी अष्टांग आयुर्वेद महाविद्यालय एवं चिकित्सालय, इंदौर में एलोपैथी चिकित्सक के रूप में अल्पकालिक सेवा में कार्य कर रहे हैं। आप वर्तमान सत्र में NEET-PG के अभ्यर्थी भी हैं। आप वर्ष 2014 से परिषद के संपर्क में हैं। आपने अभाविप के एलोपैथी विद्यार्थी कार्य - मेडीविज़न के माध्यम से आयुर्विज्ञान एवं दंत चिकित्सा शिक्षा के विद्यार्थियों में राष्ट्रीय नेतृत्व प्रदान कर विभिन्न मुद्दों के सफल नियोजन में महत्वपूर्ण भूमिका निभायी है। आपने देवी अहिल्या विश्वविद्यालय, इंदौर में परीक्षाओं में अव्यवस्था एवं भ्रष्टाचार के विषय में कुलपति के निलंबन की मांग पर सफल आंदोलन का भी नेतृत्व किया। मध्य प्रदेश में निजी आयुर्विज्ञान महाविद्यालयों में व्यापारीकरण की मानसिकता से बढ़ाये गये प्रवेश शुल्क की वापसी एवं वर्ष 2018 में एक अन्य बंद हुए निजी मेडिकल महाविद्यालय के विद्यार्थियों के भविष्य के लिए हुए आंदोलन का यशस्वी नेतृत्व किया है। समाज के वंचित वर्ग हेतु कम शुल्क पर चिकित्सीय परामर्श एवं औषधि वितरण की सेवा आप परिवार द्वारा चलाये जा रहे औषधालय से करते हैं। पूर्व में आपने महाविद्यालय अध्यक्ष, इंदौर महानगर मंत्री, प्रांत मेडिविजन प्रमुख, केंद्रीय कार्यसमिति सदस्य, मेडिविजन राष्ट्रीय संयोजक, राष्ट्रीय मंत्री आदि दायित्वों का निर्वहन किया है। वर्तमान में आप अभाविप के राष्ट्रीय मंत्री हैं। आगामी सत्र 2024-25 हेतु राष्ट्रीय महामंत्री के दायित्व पर निर्वाचित हुए हैं। आपका निवास इंदौर है।

Elections for the ABVP's National President and National General Secretary held
Prof. (Dr.) Rajsharan Shahi re-elected ABVP National President and Dr. Virendra Singh Solanki newly elected as ABVP National General Secretary
The election procedure for the post of Akhil Bharatiya Vidyarthi Parishad (ABVP) National President and National General Secretary was successfully completed today and the results were announced from the central office of ABVP in Mumbai. Prof (Dr.) Rajsharan Shahi (Uttar Pradesh) got re-elected as National President and Dr. Virendra Singh Solanki (Madhya Pradesh) is the newly elected ABVP National General Secretary for the year 2024-2025.
While announcing the results of the election of ABVP National President and ABVP National General Secretary, the Election Officer and special invitee member to the National Executive Committee of ABVP, Prof. (Dr.) Prashant Sathe, stated that both the office bearers will assume their responsibility during the 70th ABVP National Conference scheduled to be held on 22, 23 and 24 November in Gorakhpur, Uttar Pradesh.
Prof. (Dr.) Rajsharan Shahi hails originally from Gorakhpur district of Uttar Pradesh. He holds a PhD in Education. Presently, he serves as a Professor and the Head of the Department of Education as well as the Dean of the School of Education at the Babasaheb Bhimrao Ambedkar University, Lucknow. He has authored and edited six books thus far. To date, more than 112 of his research papers and articles have been published in various national & international research journals and seminars. His articles have been featured in the newspapers on subjects related to education. He has been an Associate at the prestigious Indian Institute of Advanced Studies, Shimla. In 2017, he was awarded the Yogiraj Baba Gambhir Nath Gold Medal for Best Teacher by the Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh. He is a member of various important committees in Uttar Pradesh related to educational reforms and implementation of the National Education Policy. A deep thinker on educational and social issues, he has played a significant role in advancing organizational work in Uttar Pradesh. Since his student days in 1989, he has been an active member of ABVP. As an educator and activist, he has held responsibilities of Gorakhpur Mahanagar President, Goraksh State President and National Vice President of ABVP. He has been re-elected as the National President of ABVP for the year 2024-25. His residence is in Lucknow.
Dr Virendra Singh Singh Solanki hails originally from Udaynagar in Dewas District, near Indore, Madhya Pradesh. He completed his MBBS from Sri Aurobindo Institute of Medical Sciences (SAIMS), Indore. Currently, he is serving as an Allopathic Medical Officer at the Government Autonomous Ashtanga Ayurved College and Hospital, Indore in a part-time capacity. He is also a NEET-PG aspirant in the current academic session. He has been active in ABVP since 2014. Through 'MeDeVision' - an initiative of ABVP for allopathy students, he has provided national leadership to medical and dental students and has played a pivotal role in resolving their key concerns. He led a successful campaign at Devi Ahilya University, Indore, demanding the suspension of the Vice Chancellor on the charges of corruption and irregularities in examinations. He has successfully led the agitation in Madhya Pradesh for reimbursement of commercialization-driven fee hikes in private medical colleges and, in 2018, spearheaded efforts to save the academic career of students of another private medical college which was shut down abruptly. Through a family-run clinic, he is providing the service of medical consultation and distribution of medicines to the deprived sections of our society at low costs. He has previously held responsibilities such as College President, Indore City Secretary, State In-charge of MeDeVision, Central Working Committee Member, MeDeVision National Convener and the National Secretary of ABVP. He has been elected as the National General Secretary for the year 2024-25. His residence is in Indore
