अभाविप के प्रखर प्रतिरोध से केरल सरकार मजबूर, पाठ्यपुस्तकों में नेताजी को बदनाम करने और असम–झारखंड हटाने जैसी राष्ट्रविरोधी भूलों को किया दुरुस्त

अखिल भारतीय विद्यार्थी परिषद (अभाविप) के सतत प्रयासों से केरल सरकार को अंततः चौथी कक्षा की पर्यावरण अध्ययन शिक्षक-पाठ्यपुस्तक से विकृत सामग्री को हटाने का निर्णय लेना पड़ा। केरल शैक्षिक अनुसंधान एवं प्रशिक्षण परिषद द्वारा पाठ्यक्रम संशोधन के अंतर्गत तैयार इस प्रारूप में नेताजी सुभाषचंद्र बोस को कायर बताकर यह झूठा प्रचार किया गया कि वे अंग्रेज़ों से भयभीत होकर जर्मनी भागे थे। साथ ही भारत के मानचित्र में असम और झारखंड जैसे महत्त्वपूर्ण राज्यों को जानबूझकर हटा दिया गया था।

अभाविप के राष्ट्रव्यापी विरोध और औपचारिक शिकायत के बाद, केरल के सामान्य शिक्षा विभाग ने इस मामले का संज्ञान लेते हुए एससीआरटी को स्पष्ट निर्देश दिए हैं कि आवश्यक सुधार किए बिना कोई भी पुस्तक छापी न जाए। अब संशोधित व सही किया गया पाठ एससीआरटी की वेबसाइट पर उपलब्ध है। साथ ही, इन गंभीर भूलों के लिए जिम्मेदार पाठ्यपुस्तक निर्माण समिति के सदस्यों को आगे की सभी शैक्षणिक गतिविधियों से प्रतिबंधित करने के निर्देश भी जारी किए गए हैं।

अभाविप के राष्ट्रीय मंत्री श्रवण बी. राज ने कहा, “यह केवल अभाविप के प्रखर प्रतिरोध और हस्तक्षेप का परिणाम है कि केरल सरकार को अपनी गलती स्वीकार कर सुधार करना पड़ा। नेताजी सुभाषचंद्र बोस, जो भारत के महानतम स्वतंत्रता सेनानियों में से एक थे, को कायर बताना एक सुनियोजित षड्यंत्र था। असम और झारखंड को मानचित्र से हटाना कोई संयोग नहीं, बल्कि राष्ट्र की अखंडता को तोड़ने की सोची-समझी साजिश थी। अभाविप कभी भी ऐसी विषैली सामग्री को भारत की भावी पीढ़ी के मन-मस्तिष्क में प्रवेश नहीं करने देगी।”

अभाविप केरल के प्रदेश मंत्री ई.यू. ईश्वरप्रसाद ने कहा, “जो केरल सरकार स्वयं को शैक्षिक आदर्श बताती है, वही बच्चों के सामने विकृत इतिहास परोसते हुए रंगे हाथ पकड़ी गई है। यह राष्ट्रविरोधी तत्वों से उपजी वामपंथी मानसिकता का परिणाम है। अभाविप की सामूहिक शक्ति और राष्ट्रव्यापी स्वर के कारण ही सरकार को झुकना पड़ा और इस घोर अपराध को सुधारना पड़ा। हम वामपंथी सरकार को पुनः चेताना चाहते हैं कि अभाविप राष्ट्रविरोधी हर षड्यंत्र के विरुद्ध चट्टान की तरह खड़ी रहेगी।”

ABVP’s resistance forces Kerala Government to rectify anti-national blunders in textbooks maligning Netaji and omitting Assam–Jharkhand from India’s map

The persistent efforts of Akhil Bharatiya Vidyarthi Parishad (ABVP) have compelled the Kerala Government to withdraw the distorted content published in the 4th standard Environmental Studies teacher text and handbook. The draft, prepared under SCERT as part of curriculum revision, falsely portrayed Netaji Subhas Chandra Bose as a coward who fled to Germany fearing the British regime, and also carried a serious error of omitting Assam and Jharkhand from India’s map.

After ABVP’s strong nationwide opposition and official complaint, the Ministry of General Education, Kerala, has finally taken cognizance of the issue and directed SCERT to make corrections before printing. The revised and corrected lesson has now been made available on the SCERT website. Moreover, SCERT has been instructed to debar the members of the drafting committee responsible for these grave errors from all further academic activities.

ABVP National Secretary Shravan B Raj said, “It is only due to ABVP’s firm resistance and intervention that the Kerala Government was forced to accept its mistake and issue corrections. The attempt to portray Netaji Subhas Chandra Bose, one of Bharat’s greatest patriots, as a coward was part of a deliberate conspiracy. By omitting Assam and Jharkhand, the CPM-led government revealed its anti-national mindset. This was no accident but a sinister agenda to break the nation’s integrity and mislead young students. ABVP will never allow such poisonous propaganda to creep into the minds of Bharat’s future generation.”

ABVP Kerala State Secretary EU Eswaraprasad added, “The Kerala Government that boasts of its education model has been caught red-handed serving distorted history. This was a heinous attempt to inject lies and Leftist propaganda into children’s minds. It is ABVP’s collective strength and nationwide voice that compelled the government to act and correct its wrongdoings. We warn the CPM-led government that ABVP will stand like a rock against every such anti-national ploy.”
