महंत श्री योगी आदित्यनाथ होंगे प्राध्यापक यशवंत राव केलकर युवा पुरस्कार समारोह के मुख्य अतिथि।

ठाणे (महाराष्ट्र) के दीपेश नायर को दिया जाएगा इस वर्ष का प्राध्यापक यशवंतराव केलकर पुरस्कार।

अखिल भारतीय विद्यार्थी परिषद के गोरखपुर में आयोजित होने जा रहे 70वें राष्ट्रीय अधिवेशन में 24 नवंबर को प्राध्यापक यशवंतराव केलकर युवा पुरस्कार प्रदान किया जाएगा, जिसमें उत्तर प्रदेश के मुख्यमंत्री महंत श्री योगी आदित्यनाथ मुख्य अतिथि के रूप में उपस्थित रहेंगे। गोरखपुर में 22 से 24 नवंबर आयोजित हो रहे राष्ट्रीय अधिवेशन में दिए जाने वाले प्राध्यापक यशवंतराव केलकर पुरस्कार को इस वर्ष 'ट्रेनिंग एंड एजुकेशनल सेंटर फॉर हियरिंग इम्पेयर्ड' (TEACH) के सह-संस्थापक श्री दीपेश नायर को दिया जाना है।

यह पुरस्कार वर्ष 1991 से प्राध्यापक यशवंतराव केलकर की स्मृति में दिया जाता है, जिन्हें अखिल भारतीय विद्यार्थी परिषद संगठन का शिल्पकार कहा जाता है और अभाविप विस्तार में उनकी भूमिका के लिए याद किया जाता है। यह पुरस्कार अखिल भारतीय विद्यार्थी परिषद और विद्यार्थी निधि न्यास की एक संयुक्त पहल है, जो छात्रों की उन्नति एवं शिक्षा के क्षेत्र में काम करने के लिए प्रतिबद्ध है। पुरस्कार का उद्देश्य युवा सामाजिक उद्यमियों के काम को उजागर करना, उन्हें प्रोत्साहित करना और ऐसे सामाजिक उद्यमियों के प्रति युवाओं का आभार व्यक्त करना तथा युवा भारतीयों को सेवा कार्य के लिए प्रेरित करना है। शिक्षा, समाज, पर्यावरण, विज्ञान जैसे क्षेत्रों में उत्कृष्ट कार्य करने वाले युवाओं को 'प्रा. यशवंतराव केलकर युवा पुरस्कार' दिया जाता है। इस पुरस्कार में ₹1,00,000/- की राशि, प्रमाण पत्र एवं स्मृति चिन्ह समाविष्ट हैं। इस वर्ष इस पुरस्कार को उत्तर प्रदेश के मुख्यमंत्री द्वारा आगामी 24 नवंबर को दिया जाएगा।

श्री दीपेश नायर को इस वर्ष दिए जाने वाले यशवंतराव केलकर युवा पुरस्कार-2024 के लिए चयनित किया गया है।  उन्होंने बधिर और कम सुनने वाले छात्रों के लिए 'ट्रेनिंग एंड एजुकेशनल सेंटर फॉर हियरिंग इम्पेयर्ड' (TEACH) की स्थापना की है। इस संस्था का उद्देश्य इन छात्रों को गुणवत्तापूर्ण शिक्षा और कैरियर के अवसर प्रदान करना है। दीपेश नायर के पास 12 वर्षों का कॉर्पोरेट अनुभव रहा है और वर्ष 2016 में इस केंद्र की स्थापना में महत्वपूर्ण भूमिका निभाई है । अमन शर्मा उनके साथ सह-संस्थापक हैं और दोनों ने समान शैक्षिक वातावरण बनाने के लिए उत्कृष्ट कार्य किया है। TEACH का कार्यक्षेत्र ठाणे, पुणे, दिल्ली समेत कई अन्य शहरों में फैला हुआ है। यह संस्थान उच्च शिक्षा के अवसरों की कमी को पूरा करता है और 90% प्लेसमेंट के साथ बेहतरीन परिणाम प्रदान कर रहा है।

अखिल भारतीय विद्यार्थी परिषद के राष्ट्रीय महामंत्री श्री याज्ञवल्क्य शुक्ल ने कहा कि विद्यार्थी परिषद के 70वें राष्ट्रीय अधिवेशन को भव्य बनाने हेतु निरंतर कार्य किया जा रहा है। अधिवेशन में भारत के सभी राज्य से प्रतिनिधि उपस्थित रहेंगे और अधिवेशन स्थल पर लघु भारत का दर्शन होगा। अधिवेशन में उदात्त भारतीय संस्कृति की झलक देखने को मिलेगी। उत्तर प्रदेश के मुख्यमंत्री महंत श्री योगी आदित्यनाथ प्राध्यापक यशवंतराव केलकर पुरस्कार में शामिल हो चयनित दीपेश नायर को पुरस्कृत करेंगे तथा भारत के विभिन्न क्षेत्रों से आए प्रतिनिधि कार्यकर्ता प्रतिनिधियों से संवाद करेंगे।

Thane's (Maharashtra) Shri Deepesh Nair to be awarded Prof. Yashwantrao Kelkar Youth Award-2024 on 24th November 2024

The Professor YeshwantRao Kelkar Award will be awarded on 24th November 2024 at the 70th ABVP National Conference in Gorakhpur, Uttar Pradesh in the presence of Honorable Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh, Mahant Shri Yogi Adityanath as the Chief Guest. On the third day of 70th ABVP National Conference, scheduled from November 22 to 24, this prestigious award will be awarded to Shri Deepesh Nair, co-founder of the 'Training and Educational Centre for Hearing Impaired' (TEACH).

This award, initiated in 1991, is presented in the memory of Professor Yeshwantrao Kelkar, known as the architect of Akhil Bharatiya Vidyarthi Parishad and is remembered for his role in the organisational expansion and strengthening of ABVP. Prof. Yeshwantrao Kelkar played a significant role in establishing and defining the ideological foundation, organisational development, and working methodologies of ABVP. This award is a joint initiative of Akhil Bharatiya Vidyarthi Parishad and Vidyarthi Nidhi Trust, organisations committed to working for the progress and education of students.

The award aims to highlight the work of young social entrepreneurs, encourage them, express gratitude to them, and inspire young Bharatiya individuals to become involved in social work. The award includes a sum of ₹1,00,000/-, a certificate, and a memento.

Selected for Prof. Yeshwantrao Kelkar Youth Award 2024, Shri Deepesh Nair founded TEACH to create a higher education model that would open doors for deaf students, aiming to empower them with quality education and career opportunities.

Deepesh Nair, serving as Co-Founder and Chief Operating Officer of TEACH (Training and Educational Centre for Hearing Impaired) is a fervent advocate for positive social change and community empowerment. Holding an MBA from KJ Somaiya and boasting over 12 years of corporate expertise, including roles at JP Morgan and Citi Bank, Deepesh Nair played a pivotal role in the establishment of TEACH (Training and Educational Centre For Hearing Impaired) in 2016. His journey was sparked by volunteer teaching experiences in schools and non-profit organizations. Aligning with a shared commitment with co-founder Aman Sharma to create an equitable educational environment for the Deaf hard-of-hearing community. The work of TEACH is spread all over the country including Thane, Pune and Delhi and they are also planning to expand the work of TEACH in different leading cities. The impact of TEACH is commendable it includes 100% academic results in HSC and Graduation,90% placements with an average CTC of 2.8 LPA, 40% enrollment rose in FY 23-24 and a 13% average CTC increase. 

TEACH steps in to bridge the gap of Higher Education accessibility for Deaf and Hard-of-Hearing students post their schooling. TEACH goes beyond academic support by offering a comprehensive Holistic Development Model. This model offers Higher Education opportunities for students and influences all other Stakeholders. Stakeholders of TEACH include Students, Family, Partners and educational institutions.
