Article 35(A) in Kashmir deprived women of their fundamental rights. Kashmir is changing after the Article 370 and 35(A) were repealed. Education is as important for girls as it is for boys. Karyakartas of ABVP celebrated International Women’s Day in Kashmir’s Baramulla with girl students. Role of women in nation building, avenues of employment in the region of Jammu-Kashmir, etc were discussed during the programme.
