For the first time in our country, women have become fighter pilots in the airforce.
Yesterday, Sushree Bhawna Kant, Sushree Avni Chaturvedi and Sushree Mohana Singh
have created history.
Akhil Bharatiya Vidyarthi Parishad heartily welcomes this initiative of the Air force.
ABVP's National General Secretary Vinay Bidre said that when women are marching ahead
in all walks of social life today and achieving highest positions, these three ladies will
inspire many women. There are 94 women pilots in the Indian Air force but none fly
fighter planes like Sukhoi, Mirage, Jaguar and MIG. Commissioning of these three ladies to
fly fighter planes is a welcome step.
