Akhil Bhartiya Vidyarthi Parishad heartily welcomes the decision to implement the much-awaited new National Education Policy that shall play an important role in building the aatmnirbhar Bharat. The esteemed citizens of India have been waiting for this National Education Policy to guide the much-required changes in education sector, from primary to the higher level, for a long time now.
The nation has waited for reforms to make education knowledge-based, employment oriented, technology-oriented and focused on all-round development for a long time now. The New National Education Policy shall be in accordance with the aforementioned aspirations of the common Indian.
Nidhi Tripathi, National General Secretary, ABVP, said, "The nation has felt the need for an education policy that is in accordance with Indian values and is up to the global standards. The reforms that India has been waiting for, for a long time, have been paid heed to by the government. We hope that the New National Education Policy and the reforms brought forth by it will help the Indian student fraternity, comprising of crores of students, realise their dreams. The government must ensure that these reforms are implemented on the ground without any delay. We express gratitude to the government of India and to every member of committee that worked tirelessly towards a new National Education Policy."
