Directions to educational institutes to forego involuntary fees a welcome step
ABVP expresses its gratitude to the Union Ministry of Human Resource Development for undertaking mitigating measures in respect of the complications arising in the education sector.
ABVP also acknowledges and appreciates the proactive steps of the All India Council for Technical Education vis-a-vis the guidelines issued to address the problems of fee-submission deadlines, salary of the faculty as well as the non-teaching staff, monitoring and containing the dissemination of fake news, provision of internship opportunities for the students, instituting online classes, conduction of semester examinations, along with the recurring malfunctions observed while organizing classes online.
Nidhi Tripathi, National General Secretary, ABVP, said, “Education sector is passing through tough time, we appreciate the efforts put in by the MHRD with regard to the problems faced by the students during this Coronavirus lockdown. The precepts put out by the AICTE, imperative and reassuring, will hopefully help to redress the prevailing grievances and put things to rights once the pandemic subsides.”
