The decision to implement NEET for entrance to minority institutions is commendable: ABVP

Akhil Bharatiya Vidyarthi Parishad welcomes the honorable Supreme Court's ruling that NEET shall be mandatory for admission to Unaided Minority Private medical colleges. ABVP is in complete agreement with the bench's statement that NEET ensures the recognition of merit, making it the sole basis of selection and is in the best interest of students. The judgement will also help fight the corruption in admissions to medical colleges. 

Nidhi Tripathi, National General Secretary, ABVP, said, "It has been ABVP's long standing demand that NEET be the sole medium of admission to medical colleges across the nation. The ruling is a triumph of the long struggle of students fighting for equal opportunities. We welcome the honorable Supreme Court's decision to make NEET mandatory for admission to minority institutions."
