उत्तराखंड की आकस्मिक बाढ़ से हताहत परिवारों के शीघ्र राहत व पुनर्वास हेतु उठायें कदम
अखिल भारतीय विद्यार्थी परिषद, उत्तराखंड के चमोली जिले के जोशीमठ में ग्लेशियर फटने से अलकनंदा नदी में आई विकराल बाढ़ में मृतक नागरिकों को श्रद्धांजलि अर्पित करती है तथा उनके परिवारजनों के प्रति संवेदना प्रकट करती है। अभाविप सरकार से इस जल प्रलय में प्रभावितों के पुनर्वास हेतु शीघ्रातिशीघ्र कदम उठाने का आग्रह करती है।
अभाविप की राष्ट्रीय महामंत्री सुश्री निधि त्रिपाठी ने कहा, "उत्तराखंड के चमोली जिले में ग्लेशियर फटने की घटना अत्यंत दुखद है। अभाविप कामना करती है कि इस आपदा में पीड़ित परिवारों का जीवन शीघ्र पटरी पर लौटे। अभाविप के कार्यकर्ता राहत कार्य हेतु कटिबद्ध हैं। इस तरह की घटना प्रकृति के संरक्षण तथा उसके अनुकूल गतिविधियां करने की अनिवार्य आवश्यकता पर पुनः ध्यानाकर्षण करती है, इस दिशा में गंभीरता से सोचना होगा।

Take measures for quick relief and rehabilitation of families affected by flash floods in Uttarakhand
Akhil Bharatiya Vidyarthi Parishad pays its tributes to the disaster victims of the avalanche induced floods in Joshimath in Uttarakhand's Chamoli district and offers sincere condolences to bereaved families and friends. ABVP calls for the government to undertake expeditious relief and rehabilitation measures to provide aid to the survivors of this tragedy.
Nidhi Tripathi, National General Secretary, ABVP, said, "The avalanche induced flood in Uttarakhand's Chamoli district is a heart-rending disaster. ABVP hopes that the survivors of this disaster are able to get back on their feet at the earliest. ABVP volunteers are determined to extend all possible assistance towards speedy rescue, relief and rehabilitation measures. Natural disasters like these highlight the importance of eco-friendly development. While we must do everything possible to overcome the transient effects of this disaster, it becomes crucial to adopt environmentally sustainable practices for lasting growth and prosperity."
