Efforts by the Indian Government for evacuation of Indian students from Ukraine appreciable: ABVP
Evacuation efforts from Ukraine must continue until every Indian student reaches back safely
Akhil Bharatiya Vidyarthi Parishad appreciates the evacuation efforts of Indian Students from Ukraine by the Indian Government caught amid a devastating war. We urge the Government of India to accelerate and continue the efforts of evacuating the students from Ukraine at the earliest possible.
The Government of India has started 'Operation Ganga' to bring back students from Ukraine, under which students are being airlifted from neighbouring countries of Ukraine like Romania, Hungary and Poland. We also commend the decision of sending the union minister to the neighbouring countries of Ukraine for guiding the evacuation procedure.
National General Secretary of Akhil Bharatiya Vidyarthi Parishad, Nidhi Tripathi said, "Evacuation of Indian students trapped in Ukraine should be our first priority at the moment. For this, every possible effort should be made through diplomatic channels. We request the students stuck on the battlefield to keep patience and restraint till the help of the embassy reaches them. This is a time of challenge for the whole world, we will win through together."
