केंद्रीय विश्वविद्यालयों में सामान्य प्रवेश परीक्षा छात्रों को देगी समान अवसर
यू॰जी॰सी॰ की पहल पर विश्वविद्यालय शीघ्र करें सामान्य प्रवेश की तैयारी
विश्वविद्यालय अनुदान आयोग (यूजीसी) द्वारा सभी विश्वविद्यालयों को लिखे गए पत्र में सभी केंद्रीय विश्वविद्यालय में सामान्य प्रवेश परीक्षा कराने की बात का अखिल भारतीय विद्यार्थी परिषद स्वागत करती है।
विद्यार्थी परिषद पहले से ही केंद्रीय विश्वविद्यालय की प्रवेश परीक्षा में सभी छात्रों को समान अवसर दिलाने के लिए प्रवेश परीक्षा की माँग कर रही थी। पिछले वर्ष भी अभाविप ने केंद्रीय विश्वविद्यालयों में सामान्य प्रवेश परीक्षा की माँग करी थी परंतु कुछ विश्वविद्यालयों में कोरोना के कारण यह सम्भव नहीं हो पाया था।
विगत कुछ वर्षों में केंद्रीय विश्वविद्यालयों के नामांकन प्रक्रिया में हाई कट ऑफ के कारण बहुत से छात्र नामांकन से वंचित रह गए थे। प्रवेश परीक्षा होने से देश के सभी छात्रों को एक समान अवसर प्राप्त होगा। इस कदम से सुदूर ग्रामीण परिवेश से आने वाला छात्र भी देश के प्रतिष्ठित विश्वविद्यालयों में अपनी प्रतिभा के आधार पर पढ़ाई पूर्ण कर सकेंगे।
अभाविप की राष्ट्रीय महामंत्री निधि त्रिपाठी ने कहा कि “राष्ट्रीय शिक्षा नीति में भी एक केंद्रीकृत नामांकन प्रक्रिया की बात की गई थी जिसे अभी मंजूरी दी गयी है। पिछले साल ही प्रवेश परीक्षा होनी थी लेकिन कोरोना के कारण यह नहीं हो पाई थी। यह कदम राष्ट्रीय शिक्षा नीति के क्रियान्वयन में एक अहम योगदान देगा जो कि सराहनीय है।”

Common entrance examination in central universities will give equal opportunity to students
On the initiative of UGC, universities should prepare for common admissions soon.
Akhil Bharatiya Vidyarthi Parishad welcomes the letter written by the University Grants Commission (UGC) to all the central universities for conducting common entrance examination.
ABVP was already demanding an entrance exam to provide equal opportunity to all the students in the admission process of the central universities. Last year also, ABVP had demanded a common entrance examination in central universities, but in some universities, it could not happen due to situation amid covid pandemic.
In the last few years, many students were denied admissions due to high cut offs in the enrollment process of Central Universities. By having an entrance exam, all the students of the country will get an equal opportunity. With this step, students coming from remote rural environment will also be able to complete their studies in reputed universities of the country on the basis of their talent.
ABVP's National General Secretary Nidhi Tripathi said “a centralized admission process is also discussed in the National Education Policy, which has been approved now. The entrance exam was to be held last year itself but it could not be done due to Covid pandemic. This step will make a significant contribution in the implementation of the National Education Policy, which is commendable.”
