कर्नाटक उच्च न्यायालय द्वारा हिजाब मामले में लिया गया निर्णय स्वागतयोग्य: अभाविप
शिक्षण संस्थानों में सभी के लिए समान गणवेश को बढ़ावा देना आवश्यक
कर्नाटक उच्च न्यायालय द्वारा शिक्षण संस्थानों में हिज़ाब समेत गणवेश के अतिरिक्त पहने जाने वाले किसी भी पंथ सूचक वस्त्र पर प्रतिबंध लगाने के निर्णय का अखिल भारतीय विद्यार्थी परिषद स्वागत करती है। मामले पर उच्च-न्यायलय द्वारा लंबे समय तक सुनवाई करने तथा सभी पक्षों की दलीलों पर आवश्यक विचार करने के बाद यह निर्णय लिया गया है। अभाविप का मत है कि शिक्षण संस्थानों में सभी के लिए समान गणवेश को बढ़ावा दिया जाना चाहिए।
न्यायालय में सुनवाई के दौरान यह स्पष्ट हुआ कि मुस्लिम महिलाओं द्वारा हिजाब पहनना इस्लाम पंथ में आवश्यक नहीं कहा गया है तथा विद्यालय परिसर में एक निश्चित गणवेश में आने का आदेश आवश्यक है जिसके विरुद्ध छात्र कोई आपत्ति नहीं जता सकते।
अखिल भारतीय विद्यार्थी परिषद की राष्ट्रीय महामंत्री सुश्री निधि त्रिपाठी ने कहा की, "शिक्षा मनुष्य को उत्थान की ओर अग्रसर करने का माध्यम है। इसके लिए आवश्यक है कि शिक्षण संस्थानों को रूढ़िवादी मान्यताओं से दूर रखा जाए और छात्र-छात्राएं स्वयं भी पंथ सूचक कार्य छोड़कर समावेशी शैक्षिक वातावरण को सशक्त करने में सहयोग दें।"

Decision by Karnataka High Court in Hijab case is welcome: ABVP
It is necessary to follow uniform dresscode in educational institutions.
The Akhil Bharatiya Vidyarthi Parishad welcomes the decision of the Karnataka High Court to ban any sectarian clothing in addition to the uniform, including the hijab, in educational institutions. This decision has been taken by the High Court after hearing the matter for a long time and considering the arguments of all the parties. ABVP is of the view that uniforms for all should be promoted in educational institutions.
During the hearing in the court, the hon’ble court cleared that wearing of hijab by Muslim women is not said to be necessary for Islam and it is necessary to come in a certain uniform in the school premises against which students cannot raise any objection.
National General Secretary of Akhil Bharatiya Vidyarthi Parishad, Ms Nidhi Tripathi said, "Education is a means of moving man towards upliftment. For this, educational institutions must be kept away from orthodox beliefs and the students themselves should also do away with cult-oriented thought and help to strengthen an inclusive educational environment.
