Akhil Bharatiya Vidyarthi Parishad, the largest student organisation in India, always works to maintain the quality of education as well as upkeep the ease & safety of students in this time of Wuhan Corona pandemic and its aftereffects - lockdown, delayed academic sessions, new evaluation criteria, etc.
Earlier on 24th May 2021 ABVP had given a Memorandum to regarding Examinations, Entrance Tests and Academic Sessions addressed to the Union Education Minister which was communicated to the student community and other stake holders vide a Press Release. This earlier Memorandum to Hon'ble Minister of Education spoke in detail about the entrance exams, registration centers, etc and also suggested on increasing the capacity & intake on Medical seats.
On 30th June 2021 ABVP followed this up with another Memorandum addressed to Prof. DP Singh, Chairman UGC, on pending Exams, Evaluation and Admission process for the academic session 2021-22. Speaking about this ABVP's National General Secretary Nidhi Tripathi said, "The education sector has suffered a lot in the last two academic sessions owing to COVID-19 pandemic. The learning process has also been hampered due to the pandemic. We have submitted a detailed memorandum to the University Grants Commission emphasizing on various issues like starting the academic session of students on time. We hope that the University Grants Commission will soon take steps in the larger interest of the students"

ABVP submits memorandum to UGC Chairman over admissions in the new session & other subjects
Akhil Bharatiya Vidyarthi Parishad has submitted a memorandum to the Chairman of University Grants Commission that pertains to various subjects like pending examinations in universities due to the second wave of the COVID-19, admission to the new academic session, and the possible resumption of higher education classes.
Recently, the CBSE Board decided on the evaluation methodology for Class 12 students, and all State Boards are to go ahead by adopting the same method. Keeping this in mind, ABVP in its memorandum has put forth suggestions of conducting offline/online entrance examination in the duration from last week of July to August, conducting undergraduate and postgraduate intermediate semester examinations as soon as possible, compulsorily conducting examinations of final year students based on the alternative combination of papers, resuming the new academic session for technical and traditional courses as per the circumstances and other issues.

अभाविप ने यूजीसी अध्यक्ष को नए अकादमिक सत्र के सम्बन्ध में दिया ज्ञापन
अखिल भारतीय विद्यार्थी परिषद ने कोरोना की दूसरी लहर के कारण विश्वविद्यालयों में लम्बित परीक्षाओं, नये शैक्षिक सत्र में प्रवेश और यथासंभव उच्च शिक्षा की कक्षाएं शुरू करने आदि विषयों पर विश्वविद्यालय अनुदान आयोग के अध्यक्ष को ज्ञापन प्रेषित किया है।
हाल ही मे सी.बी.एस.ई. ने 12वी कक्षा के विद्यार्थियों के मूल्याकंन पद्धति निर्धारित की है और सभी राज्य शिक्षा बोर्ड ने उसी प्रकार की पद्धति को अपनाकर मूल्याकंन की दिशा में आगे जाएँगे। इसी को ध्यातव्य रखते हुये अभाविप ने ज्ञापन में जुलाई के अंतिम सप्ताह से अगस्त के बीच ऑनलाइन/ऑफलाइन प्रवेश परीक्षाएं आयोजित कराने, स्नातक एवं स्नातकोत्तर की इंटरमीडिएट सेमेस्टर परीक्षाएं यथासंभव शीघ्र आयोजित कराने, अंतिम वर्ष के छात्रों के प्रश्नपत्र के वैकल्पिक संयोजन के आधार पर अनिवार्य रूप से परीक्षा आयोजित करने तथा तकनीकी और पारंपरिक पाठ्यक्रमों के नए अकादमिक सत्र परिस्थितियों के अनुरूप शीघ्र शुरू करने आदि बिंदुओं पर सुझाव दिए गए हैं।
अभाविप की राष्ट्रीय महामंत्री सुश्री निधि त्रिपाठी ने कहा, “कोरोना महामारी के कारण पिछले दो अकादमिक सत्र में शिक्षा जगत को बहुत नुकसान उठाना पड़ा है। महामारी के कारण छात्रों की सीखने की प्रक्रिया पर बुरा असर पड़ा है। हमने विश्वविद्यालय अनुदान आयोग को विस्तृत ज्ञापन के द्वारा छात्रों के अकादमिक सत्र समय से शुरू करने आदि विषयों को प्रमुखता से उठाया है। हम आशा करते हैं कि विश्वविद्यालय अनुदान आयोग शीघ्र छात्रों के व्यापक हितों में कदम बढ़ाएगा।”
