On 4th April 2021 as many as 23 jawans were martyred and another 32 injured, while safeguarding the sovereignty and integrity of our nation, in a encounter with Left Wing Extremist Maoists in Chhattisgarh. ABVP is in deep grief of losing our soldiers who without giving a second thought sacrificed their lives for protecting us, the fellow Indians.
ABVP Karyakartas of all campuses across the length and breadth of India - be it JNU in New Delhi or campuses in Srinagar; Universities in Gujarat in the West to Arunachal Pradesh in the East, be it Goa or West Bengal or Kerala our karyakarts paid homage to the departed souls and held protests against the prevailing RED TERROR.
Students across the campuses took a pledge that while our security forces eradicate this terrorism from our soil, we will wipe out the mindset RED TERROR from our campus and from the minds of some of our misguided youth so that in future no mother loses her child fighting the maoists and other terrorists.
